Enterprise Singapore extends Enterprise Development Grants for certain core capabilities to help businesses prepare for growth and transformation by strengthening their business foundations & strategies, and for growing overseas presence.
Enterprise Development Grant (EDG)
EDG for Strategic Branding and/or Marketing Development
To help the company better capture target audiences and markets by differentiating your brand and your products & services.
Scope of Work can cover:
- Diagnosis and gap analysis of company
- Assessment of internal and external factors, such as strengths, weaknesses and competition
- Primary or secondary research
- Recommendations and plans for implementation
Project may address any of these areas:
- Strategic Brand Positioning
- Brand Valuation
- Strategic Marketing
Not Supported:
- Production of corporate and/or marketing collaterals eg. brochures, videos, websites, photography, stock pictures and copywriting
- Implementation of marketing or PR campaigns, including retainer fees of consultants, ad and media buys, engagement of social media influencers, management of websites/social media platforms, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM)

What does EDG support?
Up to 70% of qualifying project costs namely 3rd party consultancy fees, software and equipment, and incremental internal manpower costs.
Support Level:
- SMEs up to 70% of qualified costs
- Non-SMEs up to 50% of qualified costs
SMEs are companies with up to 200 employees or up to $100m revenue
Non-SMEs are companies with >200 employees or >$100m revenue
Charities, societies, non-profit organizations are not eligible
Eligible companies include MNCs and public-listed companies
Who can apply for EDG Grants?
Eligibility Requirements:
- Registered & operating in Singapore (Singapore HQ)
- Have a minimum of 30% “local” shareholding
- Be in a financial viable position to start and complete the project
Applications assessed based on:
- Company’s eligibility criteria
- Scope of the Proposal
- Extent of capability development
- Project merits and deliverables
- Outcome and impact for the company
- Competency of service provider
Who qualify as Consultants?
Management Consultants with Enterprise Singapore-recognised certification.
Jean Tan, Consultant of Aago is certified by SPMCC, a certification body recognised by Enterprise Singapore.
How to Claim?
All grants supported are on a reimbursement basis.
